Wolf Pack head coach Ken Wilson and his staff have worked to get more Northern Nevada high school football players on the Nevada football team's roster, whether as scholarship players or as preferred walk-ons. Those efforts have been paying off. There are 16 players on the Wolf Pack roster from area high schools, with at least three more current high school seniors expected to join the Pack in the fall. Those current high school seniors include Bishop Manogue receiver Marshaun Brown, McQueen linebacker Jayden LaGrone and Reed running back Spencer Firebaugh running back.
